Wall Sculptures

Silhouette shapes were cut with scissors from black paper. Hanging a sheet of ¼ inch wood veneer to the studio wall, I drew the shape to size. The shape is cut out of the veneer then I begin building out from the wall with an inner skeleton of wood supports. The angles of the sides are constructed to give a maximum reflection of color from the sides. Paint sides to reflect color off the wall so the image floats in a bright color halo.
